The Turnip Truck, a locally owned & operated natural foods grocer, is looking for a dynamic & focused individual to fill the position of administrative assistant/book keeper to assist in management of the corporate office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
• general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, & mailing
• maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
• resolve administrative issues and inquiries
• coordinate with receiving to ensure accurate & timely accounts payable records
• reconcile vendor accounts
• input sales & deposit information into accounting system
• assist in filling out new hire paperwork
• assist in signup & administration of employee benefits

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• knowledge of basic book keeping functions & principles
• knowledge in operation of standard office equipment
• knowledge of clerical/administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
• knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
• degree in a related field of study

This is a full time, hourly position, with pay D.O.E. We are pleased to offer eligible employees paid time off, health, vision, & dental care.
